Rhuddlan castle is a short distance away - Edward I diverted the River Clwyd for over 2 miles as he needed direct access to the sea to keep his castle supplied. Just a short walk from Sun Valley will bring you to this amazing piece of history.

Rhuddlan golf course

Just a short drive brings you to Rhuddlan golf course, which provides an excellent test of golf and is a regularly chosen venue for County and National Championship Events. Their Clubhouse offers bars, snooker and full restaurant facilities daily throughout the season.

Welsh Mountain Zoo

The Welsh Mountain Zoo is home to 140 species of animals for you to see and is a great day out for adults and children alike. With an adventure park, restaurants and wildlife shows and events showing in peak times, there is something for everyone.

Llandudno

Snowdon
